A Rochester native, born and raised on the city’s south westside in the 19th ward. Upon graduation from Wilson Magnet High school, Chris earned his bachelor’s in business management with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Communications from St John Fisher College. He has 11 years’ experience working in retail, six years in store operations and 5 years in the corporate setting working, in merchandising as a grocery buyer and a pricing analyst. After finishing his MBA program at Medaille in 2017, Chris wanted to do more work with Rochester’s youth, so he changed careers, working in the Charter School system for two years as a Director of Special Projects. Chris has dedicated his life to supporting and mentoring the youth. Currently he is the Executive Director of Champion Academy, a program that provides empowerment, mentorship, and guidance to underserved teens in Rochester.
